This past weekend the 403 Selects 16U and 17U teams made the trip to Assiniboia Saskatchewan for the Prospects Camp. It was a great weekend for both teams. The girls attended the Saturday morning session of the camp, where they impressed numerous college coaches from all levels in both the USA and Canada that were in attendance. Following the camp session our athletes had the opportunity to scrimmage a local team, as well as a club team (JCVC) from Saskatchewan. This was great for both teams as we were able to see different competition and this gave the coaches an opportunity to better prepare their teams for the upcoming AVA tournaments. As always our athletes represented our club in true 403 form, staying true to our club motto this season, respect all, fear none. CBC National News was also in attendance. Watch for some of our athletes in action during the camp!

This trip was not only about the recruiting process for our athletes, but also a great team bonding opportunity as well as a chance for our 16 and 17u athletes to get to know each other better. The 17s were great role models over the weekend. The coaches were very proud of their athlete’s performance in the camp. We proudly wore our purple in representation of this wonderful group of young ladies! – 16U & 17U Coaching Staff
