Gus Masi

Gus has been around the game of volleyball for a number of years. He acquired a love of the sport playing during his high school years and became more involved when his daughter started playing club volleyball at 13U. He participated as an assistant coach during her early years and is currently an active provincial level referee.

He also gained additional coaching experience during his children’s sporting activities and has acted as a head coach and assistant coach in both soccer and hockey over the years. In his personal time, he enjoys many sports and activities, such as hiking, running, biking and swimming. As an avid triathlete, he qualified and participated in the 2014 70.3 Ironman World Championships in his age group.

Gus is passionate about working with athletes and believes that team and individual sports teach incredible life skills. He is a firm believer in ‘effort’ & ‘attitude’ and how these inner personal skills when combined with technical skills make superior athletes.

He is very excited about the opportunity to be contributing to the development of some fantastic young women. He is looking forward to the 13U 2018 season.
