The U14 team travelled toEdmontonfor the Premier #2 AVA hosted at the new Saville Community GO centre located on the South Campus of the U of A. Finishing first in their pool on Saturday the team played the all-important crossover game vs. the U14 Canada West team late in the day.  The teams battled hard to take it to three sets but the 403 team managed a convincing third set win to advance to the higher side of the draw.  On Sunday the team managed wins against the Taber WHAM and the Canuck’s Pop team.  The semi-finals proved to be the biggest challenge versus the defending champions from the previous AVA, the FOG Hawks.   Though they battled hard the 403 team could not garner a win vs. the FOG team.  They then defeated the team from Lethbridge LVC to take third place in the second AVA.  All in all a good weekend for the girls only dropping three sets the whole weekend.  The team is now preparing for the Provincial showdown in a couple of weeks.
