SAIT Head Coach Art O’Dwyer and his squad opened their doors last night to host a friendly scrimmage with our very own U18 team. After a quick adjustment to the speed and intensity of the other side of the net the girls were able hold their own and keep up with the Lady Trojans. With friends and family in the stands, the team got a first hand look at what Post-Secondary volleyball is really like.

Coach Mape was very happy with the evening. “It was great to give the girls this experience. In addition to seeing a different level of play, the team also had the opportunity to interact with the ladies from SAIT to hear what they had to say about playing at the Post-Secondary level”.

Along with the U17 team the 18’s will be competing this weekend in Cochrane at the NorCal Volleyball Club Invitational.
