Phil likes to challenge athletes to excel at the sport while maintaining a positive and fun learning environment.

He is passionate about working with athletes and focusing on leadership skills on and off the court is paramount. Additionally, mental toughness and volleyball IQ are key to becoming better players. He is very excited about the opportunity to coach some fantastic and skilled young women and work with some amazing coaches.

Phil has his level 1 NCCP and is working on his level 2 coaching certification. In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his family travelling, hiking, camping and skiing.
