His re-involvement with volleyball coincided with his meeting of HITT founder, Carsten Stanjeck, while at Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School. Erin Davis

Assistant Coach

Erin is entering her third season coaching with 403 Selects. She previously coached 18u in 2015, 16u in 2016, and is excited to be back at the 18u level. She will be coming into the 2017 season after coaching her first high school season at Western Canada High School as an assistant to Ernie Tsu.

Originally from Strathmore, she played for Strathmore High school for three years as a middle blocker and was honoured to be named team captain in her grade twelve year. As a 403 alumni, some of Erin’s best memories are the two years she played for 403 Selects in her 17u and 18u seasons. After graduating in 2012, she played at Minot State, an NCAA Div II school, for two seasons. Erin is excited to be back in Calgary and is focusing on graduating with a BA in English this year and pursuing a degree in education afterwards with end goal of teaching high school English.

Erin loves coaching and hopes to have a fun filled and competitive season while helping athletes strive to reach their full potential.

NATASHA SURINA - Assistant Coach

Natasha Surina

Assistant Coach

Natasha is entering her very first coaching season with 403 Selects. She previously coached for 3 years for a club in Lethbridge, Alberta. She has recently moved to Calgary to pursue her career as a Dental Assistant.
Originally from Vulcan, she played high school volleyball as a libero. Also many years of club she started out as a setter and then developed a love for the libero position, sticking to this for many years until the end of her volleyball career.
Natasha believes athletes should pursue excellence both on, and off the court. She ranks attitude as the most important asset of a volleyball player, followed by creating a positive environment in both teamwork and leadership. Natasha is excited to start this new chapter in Calgary and be apart of the 403 Selects club so she can share her passion and love for the game of volleyball with many athletes.
