The U14 team travelled to Leduc for the first Premier U14 AVA.  Ranked #1 the 403 team was a definite medal threat at the tournament.  The team did well in the round robin play finishing first in the A Pool.  In the cross-over game the team met the Edmonton NAVC Panda team who had finished 2nd in their B Pool.  The importance of the cross-over game became apparent to the players when they lost in a close match to the Panda team.  The team finished 9thoverall after losing only the one match to the Panda team.  The team used the tournament as a great learning experience.  This will be their last time playing the triple ball format and they will use all the skills and strategies learned at the first AVA and past tournaments to good use for the next AVA.
