On January 18 and 24, 403 Selects took part at early season tournaments. The competition was tough as they were new comers and still had to learn their places and have a feel for the club life. At the MRU tournament the girls faced the U14 Canuck teams and had a challenging competition. Canuck serving was fierce but the girls held their ground and wouldn’t give up to the older, more experienced team. At the Rally Point tournament, U13 403’s made it to quarter finales only to face their own U14 403 Selects team. It was a hard match, but even though they did not succeed, the girls never gave up and brought it to a close score in the end. The girls are back in the gym to focus on serving, passing, and overall game play.
